Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is run by Synctuary Works LLC, Hopkins, Minnesota. Mail and privacy questions can reach us at the address and email at the bottom of this page.

What you send us

The contact form does not submit to our servers. Choosing Send opens your own email app with a draft. We receive the message only if you send that email. We keep those messages for as long as we need them to answer you, and we don’t add them to a marketing list.

Don’t put passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive data in that email. We don’t ask for them.

Analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Page views are aggregated and are not tied to your name or email. Vercel identifies a visit with a hash of the request and discards that session after 24 hours. It does not use third-party cookies.

A page view can include:

• the page URL and referrer;
• a coarse location derived from the network address;
• browser, operating system, and device type;
• the time of the view.

Speed Insights records performance measurements such as how fast the page loads and whether the layout shifts. Custom events record which buttons were used, such as a contact link. They do not include what you typed into the form.

Vercel describes this in its Web Analytics privacy documentation.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising cookies, and it does not show a cookie banner. Analytics, described above, does not use third-party cookies. The site does not run ads.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any host, Vercel processes connection data, including network addresses, to deliver the pages and to keep the service reliable. That processing is covered by Vercel’s own terms and privacy policy.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell personal information. We don’t have accounts on this website, and we don’t build advertising profiles from it.

Other products

MyFishNavigator and VerveHQ are separate products with their own sites and policies. Fish Merge, a game for iPhone and iPad, has its own privacy policy and support page.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your requests

If you emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, or you want to know what we have from you, email us and we’ll take care of it. We can only act on messages we actually received.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of the page. The current version is the one published here.
